First Aid Kit are really starting to amek a name for themselves these days. It seems like just yesterday we wrote about them in our short lived “World Tour” segment and now they’re all grown up and on their second album which has received great reviews for the duo’s harmonies and folk-influenced songwriting.
The new video for “Wolf” definitely has ritualistic undertones for the track that the sisters describe as “…our destruction of the planet. But it’s also about finding the animal within you. Because we know
that underneath that polished, civilized exterior there is definitely a wild creature longing to howl or roar.”
Kaleidoscope images guide the sisters as they run through the forest of Järvsö in Hälsingland, Sweden and dance with wolf masks on an alter, all of which in the end just gets burned to the ground.
