David Vertesi

David Vertesi might be best known for his role in the Canadian band Hey Ocean!, a band that churns out indie-pop so sweet that it’s guaranteed to give you cavities. On his own though Vertesi is a little more retrospective and thought provoking. Still spending his time writing lyrics about standard fare such as love, loss and challenges, Vertesi presents them is a way that is far different than one might be used to hearing from him. There’s a mixture of drum tracks and electronic loops, all build up as a foundation for Vertesi’s acoustic folk.
