City Reign – “Out In The Cold”

City Reign is an up and coming Manchester, England pop/rock band. There's not much information out there about the band, and by "not a lot", I mean none whatsoever. The band has one album out titled...

Rudely Interrupted

Occassionally you get bands that have overcome obstacles to acheive stardom that they have truly earned and fought for. Take all those stories that you’ve ever heard and throw them out the window because Rudely Interrupted beats them all.

Five of the six band members have some sort of mental or physical disability (such as Blindness, Deafness, Autism and Down Syndrome). Some even have both. For example the bands frontman Rory Burnside was born without eyes, and has Asperger’s syndrome. What he lacks in other capacities he makes up in his ability to pitch perfect.

Bands of this sort tend to get media attention due the their special circumstances but tend to not make very good music. Rudely Interrupted is not one of those bands. While they have overcome some amazing obstacles to make it to the stage, they also make music that you would never guess comes from a group that is made up of almost completely of special needs musicians.

The band is now touring the northeast in support of their debut album Tragedy of The Commons.
