ight=”300″ class=”aligncenter size-full wp-image-28389″ />

Just a little over two weeks until the release of Frightened Rabbit’s 5-track State Hospital EP and today

we’re treated to the track “Boxing Night”. It’s an older track from the Midnight Organ Fight era that Scott Hutchinson describes and similar to the other songs on that album both “sonically and thematically” but in the end it just didn’t make it onto that album and didn’t fit into the sounds of the new album that will be out early next year. Hutchinson goes on to say that this “is the third or fourth incarnation of the track” and that “Some songs take time to find their feet and this was certainly the case with viagra this one.”

I think the opening is a little on the weak side but the track flushed out quite quickly into that coveted sound that we all love out of these Scottish lads.
