Band of Horses threw up on Facebook this morning all the details for their much anticipated follow up to 2010′s Infinite Arms. The new album is titled Mirage Rock and will be released on September 17th. They’ve also offered up the first single along with a video to the track directed by frequent collaborator Christopher Wilson. I’m honestly having a hard time wrapping my head around “Knock Knock”, It’s pretty straight forward with no real distinguishing qualities. Yeah, it’s upbeat. Yeah, it’s a handclapper but what’s going to set this song apart from all the other summer music? I’m sure that with a few listens this will grow on me but I’m still very anxious to hear what else the band has in store for us.
