I’ll have to admit that I’m a little confused as to what exactly is going on here. Andrew Bird was drafted to compose the entire score for the 2010 film Norman but apparently that score is just now becoming available for streaming and purchase and neither the film’s nor Bird’s Wikipedia pages make any mention of the other. Don’t think that I’m complaining at all though, especially since we haven’t heard anything from Bird since 2009′s Noble Beast. The score a bit different than anything that we typically get from Bird but that’s to be expected since a film score is supposed to add to a theatrical scene rather than stand on it’s own merit. There’s more instrumental pieces and less vocals but have no fear there is still come whistling in there for you.
