Mr. hip choir teacher has done it again, directing his little kidos in singing Austra’s “Energy.”  The group of 5th graders from public school 22 in Staten Island, NY is known as the PS22 Chorus and they have covered artists: Tori Amos, Beyonce, Lykke Li, Stevie Nicks, Passion Pit and more.  Here is what the PS22 website said about Austra, “Yesterday my friend Christian introduced me to Austra, the Toronto-based indie band, and I immediately fell in love — here is a song from their brilliant album Beat and the Pulse called “Energy!”  The song is on their Beat and the Pulse EP but not on their recent full-length, Feel It Break.
