“Diamond,” by Priestbird

“Diamond” is unexpected. But coming from Priestbird — originally Tarantula A.D., natch — the horde responsible for Book of Sand (orchestral meets metal meets guybrarian) and for In Your Time (hard rock meets psychedelia meets down-the-block indie), “unexpected” is the norm.

Make no mistake: it’s fantastic. From Beachcombers, which drops May 3.
