A big pet-peeve that gluts the music industry is the video-radio killed the live act star. In the ’70s, the recording process was less focused on making a piece of crap sound like a masterpiece but showcasing talented live acts in vinyl form. Now, anyone with a software program, distorted vocals, and a great producer can turn their pile of notes into a song. Luckily, the Local Natives’ live talent, as seen below, speaks for itself.
