As was mentioned last month on our Facebook page, Conor Oberst has named the album that he says will be his last under the Bright Eyes moniker.
“Shell Games” really starts up where Cassadaga left off with Oberst’s vocal being at the fore front and the accompaniment it just that, accompaniment to Oberst’s signature quivering voice. The track is a good start for what is one of the most anticipated albums for 2011.
The People’s Key is out February 25th via Saddle Creek Records. If you purchase the album from iTunes then you’ll get the extra track “Singularity” but if you buy it from Saddle Creek directly then you’ll get “Singularity” and “In The Real World”. You can check out the different album bundles here.
