Earlier this year we caught wind that Where The Wild Things Are director, Spike Jonze, was working with Arcade Fire on some kind of secret short film down in Austin, Tx having do to with friends growing apart. We now have confirmation that the short film in question is actually the video for “The Suburbs”. The video delivers as promised with a group of friends living a carefree life under some kind of Marshall law with people being dragged out of their houses.
Win Butler and Régine Chassagne even make a cameo appearance as gun toting cops about halfway through.
