Sean Carey is typically the unassuming, mild mannered percussionist behind Bon Iver. Now, like so many others recently, he has decided to break away and find his own footing. His debut album, All We Grow, will be released later this summer and features the first single “In The Dirt” which is an absolutely beautiful track built around a piano loop, distant claps and the occasional intermingling of woodwinds. Just as you think you know the consistency of the track and think that it’s going to play out to the final measure the swell begins and takes you to the finish on a high note.
This summer Sean will be touring around with Kristian Matsson of Tallest Man On Earth.
