Via Twitter, Arcade Fire announced the track names of all 16 tracks from their upcoming release, The Suburbs, in 16 separate tweets. The fact that they tweeted out each song individually isn’t the crazy part, the crazy part is that there are 16 tracks on the new album. Up until now I was speculating that the 4 songs we’ve heard had to be a third of the tracks and as we now find out it’s only a quarter.
Some of the track names play out like it’s a concept album with titles like “Half Light I” and “Half Light II”, “Sprawl I” and “Sprawl II” and “The Suburbs (Continued)”. It will be interesting to see how this whole thing plays out.
