Pearly Gate Music is one Zach Tillman, brother of Fleet Foxes drummer and folk singer J. Tillman, music definitely run deep in the vein of these two. I can’t really put it much better than the press release did when it said:

Pearly Gate Music is an incredibly talented gentleman by the name of Zach (although it should be noted that he records and often plays shows with a full band), who makes beautiful, unusual, simple-yet-complicated songs structured around his extraordinary singing and melodic sense.

Pearly Gate Music’s debut, self-titled album is due out sometime in 2010.
