New Deftones Album

by Patrick
It’s been quite some time since I checked up on the latest status of Chi Cheng but it seems as though he has been making quite the strides over the last few months. He’s not awake but it moving, reaching and becoming more vocal. Fight on Chi!

Also, Deftones are working on a new, yet untitled, album that should be released in May. The band has put the record Eros on hold since it was what they were recording when Chi was in his accident. Their hope is to release it eventually “when the time is right – hopefully when Chi is back on his feet.”

The band has since brought in bassist Sergio Vega from Quicksand to stand in for as long as necessary.
