The Tallest Man On Earth Signs to Dead Oceans

by Patrick

The Tallest Man On Earth is Swedish singer/songwriter Kristian Matsson. In 2008 he released his home recorded debut album Shallow Grave which ended up on this blogs best of 2008 list. In the last year Matsson has found himself quite a bit of success with his Bob Dylan compared folk songs. He toured with Bon Iver and has now signed to Dead Oceans for the release of his 2009 LP The Wild Hunt and has shared with us a new track from the album.

“King of Spain” is another great track following in the footsteps of Shallow Grave. The DIY feel is still there even with the production value from Dead Oceans.

Dead Oceans and I haven’t been speaking since their 67-second preview of the forthcoming Evangelicals release. I mean, either give us an entire track or don’t give us anything, right?
