"LT Slide Electric Glide"

There have been a couple of times that the NFL has gotten some egg on it’s face over the years and it seems that most of the time it’s at the hand of the music industry. There’s the infamous Janet Jackson/Justin Timberlake Super Bowl XXXVIII “Nipplegate” performance. Then you have the outstanding rap “The Super Bowl Shuffle” that the 1985 Chicago Bears recorded shortly before their trouncing of the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XX. Now we have one of today’s stars, in a lapse of reason, has recorded a video that apparently was a marketing video recorded 2 years ago by Nike.

The video of Ladainian Tomlinson doing the “LT Slide Electric Glide” was directed by Flosstradamus and makes use of just about every football cliche that they could fit in. We’ve got LT playing every position from a Quarter Back taking a knee to head coach challenging a play.

My new response to all problems is going to be “stiff arm the guy”
