Eureka Birds

Eureka Birds is a 6 piece unsigned group calling Baltimore MD their home. Last year Eureka Birds recorded their self-titled debut album in 15 days over the course of a year in 5 trips to Indianapolis with the help of producer Tyler Watkins.

There’s a smorgasbord of sound here. Some tracks are mellow rock/pop, some are folksy while others mix in a strong influence of burlesque and gypsy instrumentation. One thing for sure is that the album is not boring and is not for the close minded. It’s not a far fetched album but for those of you that like consistency of sound you won’t find that here. I find the album refreshing and rather enjoyable in the fact that it doesn’t end up finding itself in a rut at any one point.

The band is offering up the album for free on their website but I’m sure would really appreciate it if you made a purchase instead.
