Cold War Kids Behave Yourself EP

As far as I’m concerned it doesn’t get much better that 2006′s “We Used To Vacation”. Unfortunately it wasn’t that tune that threw Cold War Kids into the spotlight it was “Hang Me Out To Dry”. Not a bad track just repetitive and a little too over played for my liking. Then there was really no fan fare for the 2008 release Loyalty to Loyalty, I don’t think I could name you one track off that album as a matter of fact. Hopefully 2010 will get them back into all the indie ears that they deserve.

I don’t believe that there is a full length album in the works but at the very least we will be getting an EP early in the year. On January 19th (December 21st digitally) the boys will be releasing Behave Yourself on Downtown Records. The first single from the EP is “Audience” and I believe it to be in the same pattern as “We Used To Vacation” so I’m diggin’ on it for sure.
