Frightened Rabbit – The Winter of Mixed Drinks

828It seems like just yesterday that Frightened Rabbit released their fantastic 2008 LP Midnight Organ Fight but they are now preparing to release their follow up in March of 2010 via Fat Cat Records. The first single off the new album is “Swim Until You Can’t See Land” and for some reason this track sounds awfully familiar. I had to go back to their previous releases to make sure that it wasn’t a track from one of their older albums and sure enough it is a new track on the upcoming album The Winter of Mixed Drinks.

Considering the Scottish origins of the band I think that it would be safe to assume that “Winter” in the album title could have been replaced by any season of the year or even day of the week for that matter.
