Denton, Texas indie rockers Midlake are finally putting a date on their follow up to the highly acclaimed 2006 (yes, 2006) release The Trials of Van Occupanther. This follow up album has been so long in the making that Midlake has appeared in the Most Anticipated Albums of the Year list at Under The Radar in 2008, 2009 and will probably make an appearance on the 2010 list as well. With four years between releases one has to wonder if all the wait is going to be worth it or whether the attempt to repeat will be too much. For their sake I hope not.
