Uncut's Top 20 Albums of The '00's

uncut-top-20-00s_210xThe end of 2009 will soon be upon us and music blogs and magazines are already preparing their top ten lists for the year. But what’s special about this year is that it’s also the end of a decade. Meaning that not only will we see countless lists of top albums of the year but also top albums of the century.

Pitchfork has been hard at work getting their lists together even including a top 500 albums of the decade and now Uncut has presented their list for the top 150 albums of ’00. But everybody only really cares about the top 20 so you can see those below. Along with their list Uncut also names Jack White as the “Man of The Century”. I must admit that it has been a pretty stellar decade for White. The list includes 5 white stripes albums, two of which are in the to 20, and both Raconteurs albums.
