Eric Hutchinson at Paste

20080907_444045Eric Hutchinson is a musician that I have been following for many years now. What makes Eric so enjoyable is that he seems to put as much thought into his lyrics as he does the music. I am not one to pay much attention to lyrics most of the time and I’m not quite sure why I started paying attention to his but the flow of his words are a trait of his that’s hard to let pass by unnoticed. He also performs one of the most enjoyable live shows that I have ever been to.

Eric kind of fell off my radar a bit since the release of his debut full length Sounds Like This but was brought back into the forefront when I caught wind that he did a live performance at Paste studios. You can check out four songs that are featured on the album here.

Eris just recently signed to Warner Bros. Records and much to my dismay is touring with Kelly Clarkson.
