Pinemarten Releases Follow Up EP

Just a few weeks ago we wrote about Pinemarten, an anonymous Chesterfield native writing music that we described as "electronic without belaboring the point". With just a few weeks under his belt as an official...

#currently listening: Mirador/Pwdre Ser

Orba Squara

0367554875_gI received a press release the other day about the new Orba Squara release The Trouble With Flying, a follow up to the 2007 release Sunshyness. This is good news for me because Orba Squara is a band that is right up my alley. A little bit folk with touch of lullaby to boot. I got my hands on an advanced copy of the album so stay tuned for a full review.

And while you’re out clicking away on the intertubes and pretending to work go check out Orba Squara’s website. It is set up like a storyboard that catalogs a 10 day bus tour spanning the lower 48 all the while you are treated to tracks from the new album. I haven’t made it through the entire website yet but it is a interesting read and a fantastic set design.
