New music from one of the greatest musical minds of our generation is never a bad thing, so to hear that a new (old) Elliott Smith tune had been discovered really brightens up my Monday.

Apparently there is some history to this track. It had been recorded twice, once slow and again fast, I believe this is the fast one. Smith scrapped it after the recording saying that now it was too fast. Smith must have been ultimately frustrated with how the tuned turned out since the original title of the album XO was suppose to be Grand Mal.
