Pinemarten Releases Follow Up EP

Just a few weeks ago we wrote about Pinemarten, an anonymous Chesterfield native writing music that we described as "electronic without belaboring the point". With just a few weeks under his belt as an official...

Stream Julian Plenti is…Skyscaper

julian-plenti-fun-that-we-haveInterpol has always been one of those bands that I’m either completely on board with or have had a hard time picking up what they’re trying to put down. Now frontman Paul Banks has grown a scuzz-stache and is about to release a solo album as Julian Plenti, I find myself in the same boat. Banks sticks to the same monotone vocals with heavy drums and simple guitars. There is nothing really surprising or exciting about this album, it just sounds like another Interpol album. It may appear that Interpol has possibly had their day in the sun and will slowly exit stage right.

You guys can all make your own judgments, of course, and now you can make them a few days early of the official release date of August 4th over at Rhapsody.
