Chevelle Plans New Release

ChevelleFor the most part we try to focus on the indie scene here but occasionally we’ll break form and dabble in the heavier stuff that we thoroughly enjoy as well. That’s why I am reporting on the announcement of Chevelle’s new album Sci-Fi Crimes due on September 1st on Sony Records. It seems like only yesterday that Vena Sera was released but it was way back in 2007 when this disappointment hit the shelves so it is about time for a follow up.

There is very little information out about the album, no track list, no album cover only a first single and a few confirmed tracks. The first single is “Jars” and can be heard on their MySpace page.
