New Annuals "The Giving Tree"

annualsI tend to forget how much I like the Annuals until something new pops up on the radar and I take another listen. Be He Me was a promising debut release that had many predicting that they would be around for a while. But Such Fun took a head first dive into the shallow end of the sophomore slump kiddie pool and all but dashed their hopes for future fame. Now the sextet is trying to gain lost ground with “The Giving Tree” which is a welcome and hopeful song that gives us reason to not give up on them quite yet.

There’s no real word as to what this track is for considering that Such Fun was released late last year I can’t imagine that they are already starting to release tracks for a new album. But it wouldn’t be the first time I was wrong.
