“Tiny Red Light makes me long for south western highways. The track would fit quite well about 200 miles in and 400 to go.”

nmt-final-final-final-final-final-finalToday the raw feed nourishes us with To the Lions, an EP by Brooklyn’s Paul and the Patients. It’s open-air arena alt-rock; a view of the stars is optional, but highly recommended. Don’t misunderstand. This is not booze music. For some reason I’m picturing chess in Connecticut.

For now their Myspace page — linked above — has posted the entire EP for streaming and adding. (Purchase available off-site.) My favorite cut is “Well Done You World,” but any track named after a blogging software (not WordPress, sorry) deserves recognition.
