Marching Band is yet another great band from Sweden making their way up through the ranks. Their 2008 release, Spark Large, starts out a little slow but picks up pretty quick so don’t give up on it too early or you’ll miss out. As just a duo, Erik Sunbring and Jacob Lind write and record light and airy songs that are reminiscient of The Shins and Belle & Sebastian. Along with the typical band entourage, Marching Band mix in eclectic instruments like banjo, vibraphone and the Arp Solina.
