Come the first day of June we’ll have a problem. An eight-legged problem that lasts about five weeks. The first one we see will probably be floating in the pool. The last one? One of our Independence Day guests will find it and then call us on her cell from her car, trapped and shrieking. And who can blame her? They’re thick, they’re creepy, and they simply will not bugger off. Hopefully the three tracks in this brief playlist will dull the pain of spider season:
That’s “Century Trilogy: Part 3,” from Tarantula A.D.’s Book of Sand LP.
That’s “Wonderlust King,” from Gogol Bordello’s Super Taranta! LP.
That’s “One Thousand Tears Of A Tarantula,” from Dengue Fever’s Escape from Dragon House LP. Happy spring!
