The Indie Rock Coloring Book

indiecoloringI don’t have any kids of my own but I do have two young nieces, a nephew and a few God children that need Christmas presents this year and I think that I have just found what I am going to get them.

The Indie Rock Coloring Book, due out July 22nd through Chronicle Books, is a collaboration between artist Andy Miller and nonprofit T-shirt design company Yellow Bird Project – who has worked with many bands to design T-shirts who’s proceeds go to the charity of the bands choice. Going along the same lines, all the royalties from The Indie Rock Coloring Book will be divided between the charities that each band has chosen.

The activity book will have mazes, connect-the-dots and coloring pages from bands such as The Shins, Devendra Banhart, Rilo Kiley, the National, Bon Iver and many more.
