I’m really tired of typing the name of Omar Rodriguez Lopez’s new group out in full so the above is all you’re going to get out of me on a Saturday afternoon.
At least now we can say that we finally have our first full length single from the new album due on May 5th. It was posted over at Stereogum yesterday and I’ve listened to it a couple of times over. It is a surprisingly short track at only 3:06, I normally don’t expect a Mars Volta song to start taking shape until at least 3 minutes in.
Overall it’s not a bad track but it is way too short and it ends abruptly.
