Find of The Week Vol.1 No.2

mumford-sonsThis weeks find is Mumford & Sons. With the backings from violin, mandolin and banjo, Mumford & Sons, coming to us from London, have been categorized as folk/bluegrass although I would throw them more into a neo-folk category rather than traditional folk. It is definitely a starting point for them but they branch off quickly and intermingle sounds from many different corners of the musical realm.

From their myspace page I started with the song White Blank Pages and told myself that it was my favorite song on the site. But I found myself saying that to each sebsequent track. This band is definitely worth a listen.
